Rusty

I think back and remember a time,

I rode a journey on many paths.

Some had dogs and others, toys,

I had my rusty four-legged bike.

I was captain and he was co,

Together, we journeyed all day long.

He took me far and near,

Away from home and back again.

My only friend betrayed me,

Just like Cain.

I gained Rusty from mum,

I was happy again.

Never alone on an adventure I went,

Rusty was always there.

Then he was gone,

Left outside, he was stolen away.

I had betrayed him,

Now, I walk alone.
